- Teaching since:
Hi there! I began teaching in 1991, and have taught in the Montessori classroom, in nature - teaching children about the wonders of the outside world, and in a world-class museum as a docent/trainee. Along the way, I have discovered that we ALL can learn naturally when it is FUN and HAPPY and LOVING.
Meditation is my absolute favorite subject to teach, because it changed my life in a positive way and I believe it can help you, too. You can expect to learn some basics in a single introductory class with me. Meditation is simple, but it is not easy. Let me explain: it is like learning to ride a bike.
The theory of riding a bike is relatively simple, but not easy because it takes practice! Do you remember the thrill of zipping down the street or around your backyard on your bike? The wind is in your hair and you feel like you are flying. Simple, but not easy. But once you learn how to do it, it will be with you for life! Meditation is like that.
One class will give you some practical skills that you can use that very day to make your life better. You will learn how to de-stress and enter a calm realm of experience - even if it is just for 10 minutes. You can stop your meditation journey with me right there after one lesson, and I will be happy to have been a part of that journey.
OR, you can take a short series of 3 classes with me to take your new skills of meditation to another level. After those 3 lessons, you will be able to continue on your journey alone or make the choice to stay in contact. It is totally up to you.
I look forward to meeting you!
