Hello! My name is Shanna (pronounced Shawna), and I am a licensed teacher in both Oregon and Washington States in the USA. I have been teaching for over 25 years. I have taught children as young as 3 years old, to adults who were in their 90's! I love teaching! As a requirement for being given a teaching license in both Oregon and Washington, I have had extensive background checks by the various departments of the licensing process, along with yearly background checks for the schools I currently work for.
I currently live about a block from the Pacific Ocean and I love where I live! My husband has retired from the Coast Guard and we are enjoying our time together. Our little dog Mac, is our little baby! He is a mess, but we love him!

Shanna is wonderful. Veey professional and at the same time amicable.
Shanna is one of the most professional teachers I've came across through my online one-to-one learning process, She carefully created a coherent syllabus to help me achieving my language learning goals, She customized the studying material to be informative yet interesting, homework assignments were absolute fun to do.
Shanna is really a friendly teacher as well, Session times went by without even noticing it, I totally recommend Shanna!
Shanna is a very patient teacher and we were talking about many topics.
My son usually doesn't warm up to any teacher very easily but Shanna had him at hello. Her approach is exemplary of what teachers should be doing when they tutor or teach students, tailor lessons to the individual. Only two sessions in and he is prepping for the 3rd
