    About Shan D.

I am a professional flutist. I graduated from Central conservatory of China with a Master's of Music, currently doing my performance diploma in Chicago college of performing arts with Richard Graef, assistant principle flute in Chicago Symphony Orchestral, specifically flute. Flute students can expect to improve week to week in their technique. I teach students to release built up tension and apply foundational techniques in order to have a wonderful sound. I can help any student to play with freedom, confidence, and expression. I teach flute students of all different ages and experience levels. Both in Chinese and English. I can teach students to read music and pursue classical excellence, to learn how to play music using chord sheets, or both depending on the goals and preference of the student. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better musician!
