Hello my name is Shakira I enjoy sign language and believe it is a great first language to teach your children! I have worked with children and adults both can comprehend the material pretty well. Sign language will help them communicate with more people in this big, but small world we live in. One of my best students was a 6 year old little girl who enjoyed learning because I enjoyed teaching and learning with her! She knew how to sign words that she had not even learned in school yet it also helps improve spelling. Sign language is the 4th largest foreign language being taught in higher education and is becoming more popular in today's generation! I look forward to teaching you!
