Acoustic Guitar with Sergio R.

I am a professional guitarist, bassist, and lead vocalist. Guitar has been my primary instrument, I have been playing for almost 5 years. My experience with the instrument(s), my calm and fun demeanor, and my classical training make sure lessons are very fun, while still teaching strong fundamentals. My first instrument was the piano, which I started by the age of 3. By age 5 however, I began taking lessons and I gained a lot of classical training in notes, articulation, and other techniques through piano. I cycled through many instruments before finding my true passion, the guitar. I used my classical training and my love for so many types of music to teach myself how to play. Eventually, I knew it was time for the next level, and I took lessons for about a year to go from intermediate to advanced/professional. Currently, I play in a rock/metal band and a duo that plays all types of music. My duo additionally plays gigs as often as we can get them. I also write my own music, which is on iTunes, Spotify, and other music platforms. I released my first EP last November. I can teach all types of age ranges, as well as beginner and intermediate musicians. Although I am young, I have gained a lot of experience in recording, songwriting, and performing, all of which I am able to teach. My goal for each student is to be comfortable, devoted, excited, and eager to learn and play their instrument. I want all of my students to be able to write a song whenever they please, as well as have any of the knowledge and technique they may need in their musical journey. I am able to teach many types of music. Many of the styles/genres I teach: Blues, Metal, Rock, Hard Rock, Punk, Jazz, Pop, Acoustic, Funk, Alternative.
