Sergei is a Berklee alumnus, guitar player, improviser, composer, and educator. Awarded a Berklee Online Celebrity Scholarship in the name of Steve Vai, he now serves as a Berklee mentor. Sergei is a leader of the Los Angeles jazz quartet, Deuces Wild Jazz. He has more than 10 years of experience as a guitar tutor, and taught Guitar Performance Techniques at BIMM (British Irish Modern Music Institute) in Berlin, Germany. Known for his electrifying guitar sounds, charismatic live performances, and trademark fusion of musical influences, Sergei continues to explore guitar horizons while defying standardization.

Sergei clearly has a deep understanding of the guitar and the theory behind it. I've been taking lessons with him for a few months now and I am continually learning something new. He is a patient teacher and is encouraging when I'm not grasping a concept. He's helped expose some bad habits and helps me create better ones. I look forward to continuing working with Sergei and learning from this great teacher!

Really great experience. He was really knowledgeable on different styles such as jazz, funk, rock, blues, etc. He is also patient really takes his time explaining everything so you can get a better understanding.
