I work with Homework on Wheels as a tutor for all ages and subjects. I am a Beachbody accountability coach, so I help people stick to their health goals and complete such programs as P90X and Insanity. I was the lead math instructor at Kumon West Hollywood and Kumon Chino. My strengths are Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 as well as spelling and writing. I have been loved for having a clear approach to teaching and giving an experience that is memorable to learning the information. I will come up with jokes or catch phrases to keep the information fresh and fun. I take the complication out of learning and instead tell it to you like it is. Plain and simple. Although I am young, I have been teaching children for 5 years unpaid and 2 years paid. My most typical students tend to include late elementary through middle school children. I have traveled the world, taught children abroad, and worked in many community service projects back home in the U.S. I enjoy connecting with those that I teach and seeing that sparkle in their eyes when they are excited about learning something new AND getting it. I am willing to work with your schedule and accommodate you in any way I can. Whether it be through home lessons, the library, or skype.
