I have been teaching private lessons since 1990 and am currently available to teach lessons at your home, or in my studio. I have helped students learn chords to accompany themselves when singing, learn rock, blues, and country lead guitar, and read music. Together we can tailor a course that will help you achieve your personal musical goals. I have been playing guitar since 1968. I have enjoyed my life making music and love sharing my knowledge. I look forward to helping new students achieve their goals. My teaching style is fun, casual, and challenging. Let's make this happen for you!

I have been playing guitar (self taught) for about 25 years, just not very well. I was looking for a teacher that could help me fill in the music theory gaps. As well as help me formulate a meaningful practice plan that will get me over my hump. I gotta say Scott has hit the nail on the head every lesson. He first listened.. and as a result has delivered an eye opening and inspiring lesson every time. I highly recommend Scott for guitarists of all levels. He knows his STUFF!! Better yet, he knows how pull what YOU need from what he knows and deliver it effectively.

The Ventura County Blues Society is dedicated to preserving the rich history of Blues music by providing awareness and supporting Blues education in the Ventura County and surrounding areas. In addition, the society will provide funding to community charities. This will be accomplished by: Promoting community blues events.
