Blues Guitar with Scott M.

Hello fellow music lover! My name is Scott, and I'm a musician with 15+ years of performance experience. I've studied performance at Berklee College of Music and performed in various configurations from funk/soul ensembles, to folk-rock bands and I write my own music that I perform as a solo artist. I love teaching because it allows me to share my love of music and help people grow creatively in the direction of their choice. My feeling is, if you're choosing to invest in your artistic development, it should be an enjoyable experience based around what you're interested in learning about. To that end, all of my lessons are customized to the tastes and preferences of each student. We'll identify the goals you'd like to work towards, the music you want to play and take concrete steps in line with your creative vision. My areas of expertise include folk, blues, rock, soul, funk and pop music with particular interests in songwriting and improvisation. However, I'm versatile and open minded, so I'm willing to apply my skills to help you learn any style or sound that you are excited about! Cheers, Scott
