Hello! My name is Scott Gregory and I am a piano instructor in Louisville, KY. I have a great amount of experience teaching piano in several genres, such as classical, jazz, country, and rock. Raised in Nashville, I have been steeped in the professional commercial music world, but my roots are in classical and jazz.
I am a professional pianist, composer, and producer, and I am an award-winning film score composer.
I love to see people discover the power of playing music and of accomplishing goals. I want to help you to develop a love for the art, as well as to find that you can achieve more than you were previously aware of.

I’ve really enjoyed having Scott as my piano instructor! He does a great job of pointing out opportunities for improvement in your playing as well as how you can get there. He clearly has an in-depth knowledge of music theory, which was helpful in certain applications and also made the process of learning piano more interesting. Taking lessons can make you a little nervous with someone sitting right there watching you play something you’ve been trying to learn, but Scott was very patient with my performance anxiety and it didn’t take long before I felt comfortable playing in front of him. I found him to be a very good teacher and he’s also flexible and understanding with scheduling conflicts!

Scott is an all around pro. Any question I had pertaining to piano, organ, or synth he had a thoughtful and thorough answer. Also his teaching style is very student focused. No matter what skill level you are at or whatever it is you might be wanting to learn in the realm of piano Scott will get you to where you want to be.
So, all this to say, if you're wanting to become a better pianist and musician Stott is definitely your guy.
