A graduate of The University of Michigan (MM in Orchestral Conducting), and Mannes College of Music (MM in Choral Conducting and Music Theory, BM in Music Theory), I am currently in the last year of my Doctoral Program (DMA in Orchestral Conducting) at Rutgers. Having begun the piano when I was six, I have fifteen years of experience teaching piano and ten years teaching conducting. I have given instruction to all ages privately, and I have held group lessons and classes from elementary school to college level. My passion is with education. I am a patient teacher who listens to the needs of my students, both in music and in conversation, to make sure they find the best method to improve their basic skills and find joy in making music. I am a conductor for New York Mixed Chorus, Schola sine Nomine, Park Avenue Christian Church Choir, and The Classical Musician's Rehearsal Symphony Orchestra in New York City. My school teaching experience includes Rutgers (Conducting), Mannes Preparatory Division (Music Theory), Bronx Bethany After School Enrichment Program (Piano), Midori and Friends (Piano), and New York Music and Arts (Piano).
