Hi, there! My name is Satoru and I moved San Fransisco Bay Area since 2013 from Tokyo, Japan. In Tokyo, I was a marketing specialist over 15 years at global IT companies. After moving here, I have belonged to Japanese - English Toastmasters club and the club includes various people, like business people, students, teachers, artists and so on. Because of my marketing professional experience, I realize that I'm good at teaching business Japanese with it's culture and common knowledge. In addition, I know how to make effective communicate on business without missing key points. I'm an easy going and optimistic person and my teaching style is focusing simple way and encouraging. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

Satoru is very thorough in  his explanations and helped me improve not just my grammar and vocabulary but word usage and understanding of behavioral expectations.  I have been studying Japanese for work, so Satoru's insights into Japanese business culture and expectations has been invaluable for me and for my company.  He has answered questions even outside of lesson times and helped me translate several documents into Japanese for company usage.
