I can teach the basics of sewing with intro lessons coaching you through making our own simple projects with no stretchy fabrics. I also teach lessons on making corsets to more experienced sewers-from intermediate lessons making a mockup and fitting it to make your first corset to advanced lessons on drafting your own special corset patterns and making them a reality. I can also teach lingerie making, formal wear, and tech wear to more advanced sewers, from basic bralettes and underwear, raincoats and athletic wear, to embellished luxury garments.

My name is Sarah. I'm an artist with a BA in Theater Arts from UCSC. I've been sewing for 10 years now, and have worked in professional costume shops. I've been working with embroidery machines since 2017 and I use my embroidery machine, sewing, and crafting skills to run my own little fashion line where I sell handmade and custom lingerie. I enjoy designing and crafting all kinds of things. My specialty is lingerie and corsetry but I sew everything from formal gowns and costumes to upholstery and techwear. I can teach the basics of sewing household items, sewing clothing from patterns, altering and fitting garments and patterns, and drafting patterns and sewing your own designs. If you want to sew something, I can teach you how to do it! I enjoy working with people and I want to put my arts, design, sewing, embroidery, and crafting skills to work. I can come to your home to teach you everything from the basics of sewing, embroidery, and crafting to coaching you through your own advanced projects. I also offer online classes via TakeLessons platform, skype or your preferred video chat platform so you can get one on one coaching wherever you are.
