Classical Voice with Sarah M.

Hey singers! I'm Sarah! I'm a musical theatre actor based in New York City. I have performed Off-Broadway as well as in various readings and cabarets around the city. I studied at James Madison University where I received my Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre. While at school, I taught voice lessons and took class in vocal pedagogy to better understand how to teach vocal technique. After graduation, I performed regionally as an actor until I moved to New York. I have been teaching voice lessons for the past four years and I love helping my students discover their own voices. My main goal is helping students sing with ease and discontinue habits that hinder them from singing healthily. I give my students specific warm ups that help them tackle their problem areas and we apply the techniques they learn to the songs they enjoy!
