"Music is what feelings sound like." ~Anonymous Music: I am a lead vocalist, a pianist and a songwriter. I love all genres of music, harmonizing and songwriting are my passion. I teach music outside the box by listening to the goals of my students and incorporating passion, inspiration, creativity, and imagination towards those goals. The proper techniques are easily taught in a fun, positive manner instead of something that most people dread to learn or practice. There are so many different processes individuals use to learn, and being creative is an excellent catalyst to build and motivate learning experiences. I have been teaching piano, singing, composition and songwriting or over five amazing years. Whilst attending Canyon Crest Academy, I spent 3 years in a vocal conservatory where I dedicated over one thousand hours of extra-curricular activity in music theory, music history, and classical, operatic, and modern vocal practices. I spent 4 years being a member of their highly esteemed choir. I've been singing in choirs for sixteen years taking on solo roles. The Folklore Guild was a previous choral project I loved being a member of, and I have experience being in a band. —————————————————————————————— Yoga: When I was introduced to the world of Yoga, I instantly wanted to understand the historic background and benefits. My yogic journey began with practicing daily yoga at sunrise. Through Rachel Lubich’s School of Yoga, I received my 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training hosted by Trilogy Sanctuary in La Jolla, California. Each path I take guides to seeing and understanding what Yoga means to me. Yoga is an opportunity to find harmony in my mind, body and spirit through my intentions, breath, actions, stillness, movement and music, mindfulness, meditation and truly listening to the highest vibratory version of who I Am on a breath-to-breath rhythm.
