Hey friends! You're looking for acting lessons! That's amazing because being a professional actor means you are self-employed, and you have to be motivated to find your own work. By looking for a teacher, that's exactly what you're doing right now, meaning you already are living the life of an actor. I have been acting since I was ten years old, and I'm a professional actor, stage combatant, director, and fight director/violence designer (stage combat is my life), and I'm currently studying intimacy direction. I have performed in almost all of the United States, as well as England, Canada, and Australia. I'm originally from Michigan, but I also lived in Ohio and San Francisco before settling down in New York City- my favorite place on Earth. I'm back in the midwest earning my MFA in acting, but I'll be back in NYC the day after I graduate, so I would love to tell you about being a working actor in the city. If you want this to be your career, there are so many aspects to being successful that have nothing to do with performing, and everything to do with business and learning how to market yourself. If you want, we can absolutely look at the business side of the career as well. My very first professional job was a four-year tour of Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth as Juliet and Lady M, so Shakespeare and classical language is a big passion of mine, but if you're not interested in focusing on classical work, that's completely fine! The playwrights of this generation are fierce and are telling the most amazing stories that need to be shared. When coaching, I love to pull from their work, especially female-identifying and POC playwrights whenever possible. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have to ensure we are a good fit, but regardless of whether or not we end up working together, I'm incredibly excited for you to be taking this step in your career or hobby. Please note that my availability for the summer excludes the weekends, but if that is the only time you are available, please reach out and we will make something work. Stay safe and healthy!

Ms Sarah immediately made my daughter Kezia feel comfortable. She was kind enough to ask my daughter to submit some videos she did for a potential agent prior to her appointment and on the day of their scheduled time gave her some constructive feedback. Even though it was online it did not feel Ike it at all. For a first lesson it went really great
