I am a trained Vocalist and composer/singersongwriter. I have had extensive Classical and Jazz vocal training, and I teach Jazz, Soul, RnB, pop, folk, Rock, Musical Theater, and World Music. My lessons establish a solid vocal technique, proper breathing and throat relaxation so as to cultivate a unique voice, and help students sing their style with more confidence and ease. You'll learn to develop an awareness and mastery of the floating ribs, thoracic cage, diaphragm, larynx, tongue, soft and hard palate and jaw. Broaden your vocal range, perfect your pitch and refine your ear, develop volume and softness, master vibrato, and start working on more acrobatic ornaments. Find your authentic expression and musicality by working on dynamics, nuances, phrasing, emotional resonance and interpretation. My teaching method creates new, healthier neural pathways in the voice delivery and singing activity. In addition to singing lessons, I offer songwriting coaching and voice therapy.
