Hello, my name is Sarah and I love learning and teaching others to enjoy the learning process. I am a School Media Specialist, a librarian who is certified to teach. My passion is story-telling; I love finding a good picture book to engage listeners in a great story. I've tutored grandmothers in how to become great story-tellers for their grandchildren!
I also create study guides for children and adults to improve their reading skills and pass standardized tests like the High School Equivalency exam (formerly known as the GED) and (Graduate Record Exam). Currently, I teach pre-K through 8th graders to learn to read better and enjoy their time in the library.
Reading and story-telling are my passions, and reading is the foundation of every academic subject in school. My students are taught that every subject and career that they envision in their future depends on how well they can read and understand the basic instructions. To be the best of anything that they want to do requires that they learn the techniques of that area.
Consequently, to pass GED and GRE exams require that one learns the techniques upon which each exam is based. I can help students study for and pass these exams, as long as students follow my test-taking techniques.
