Played flute and piccolo in 4th Marine Division Reserve Band New Orleans. We performed military ceremony's, Mardi Gras parades and balls, hurricane Katrina memorial concerts, and many more. I have been on professional concert tours throughout the United States to include NEEWOLLAH in Wichita Kansas, Rose Bowl parades in California, and Fleet week in New York city. I have also been on Christmas concert tours where we performed free concerts to raise toys for the Toys for Tots Campaign. I have performed in concerts with the President's Own elite Marine Corps Band.

The focal point of my lessons are almost always technique and tone. Each lesson you can expect to be playing with a tuner and metronome. I highly recommend that all my students have a tuner and metronome, especially the beginners. I cannot begin to emphasis how important it is to have the proper technique when learning a new instrument. My goal is to provide the student with the proper foundation needed for them to be successful as they continually progress.

My background includes playing the flute for 17 years including 4 years in the Marine Corps Band. I have attended and graduated from the Armed Forces School of Music. I have performed in a variety of professional bands to include concert, marching, and jazz band. I also can provide assistance to students attempting to learn piccolo.
