Violin with Sarah E.

I am a professional violinist and violist with a great passion for teaching. Privileged to have had many great teachers, including Elizabeth Zempel and Mimi Zweig of Indiana University, I am committed to the great joy of music for the next generation. One of the greatest joys of music is ensemble playing. Having grown under outstanding group and chamber coaches and having performed with Milwaukee Youth Symphony for nine years, sitting principal violist in a number of orchestras, I received musical training that equips me as a well-rounded teacher. More recently I have performed with regional symphony and chamber orchestras and have been a recording member for multiple CDs. Students of all ages, backgrounds, and levels are welcome into my studio. I have thousands of hours of in-person lesson experience, and am equipped with a B.A. in violin pedagogy to provide motivation for each student. Together we are sure to succeed!
