Singing with Sarah C.

Hey everyone! My name is Sarah, and I am a Vocal Instructor here, at TakeLessons. My music background began as a choir student, competing in Jazz and Madrigal competitions growing up, I found a love for music theory and performance. Since third grade, I’ve done just about every avenue of singing! Choir, Music Theatre, Solo Performance, Bands, Open Mics, and yes, the occasional karaoke! Before Covid, I was a private vocal instructor for School of Rock and became the most requested teacher at all locations. Teaching with compassion and fun is where my true passion lies. In our lessons, I love to focus on stage presence, building confidence, music theory and application, as well as just having a really fun time! After all, we are all here to learn because we have a passion for music, and a yearning to share that with others! I’ve done a lot of different preforming platforms, competing in NATS (National Association of Theatrical Singing), playing lead roles in musicals throughout college (mostly the villain, muhahahaha!), and was on the improv comedy team at the National Comedy Theatre. So if you ever have an audition to prepare for, I’m your gal! I’m so excited to work with everyone and help encourage your inner passion. Now, let’s sing!!!!
