I have been playing piano and violin for 15 years. Due to my strong background in classical music, I joined the Erie Jr. Philharmonic as a first violinist where I performed with them for seven years. During those years, myself and my fellow musicians, had the opportunity to play with not only the Erie Philharmonic but also the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony.
Due to my experience with the Jr. Philharmonic I also played with the PMEA district and regional orchestra for two years.

As a pianist, I worked for four prominent churches over the years as the Director of Music where I had the responsibility of selecting the songs and rehearsing them.
I was also given the opportunity to accompany the local high school choir for two years for the winter and spring concerts and have played a variety of different genres.

For three years I have been teaching in my home studio, the Joyful Noise Studio. Over the past year I have begun working at the Sandy Springs Music Studio in Atlanta and also the Sound of Music Studio in Buford, GA. Music has always been an important part of my life and I love to give others the opportunity to learn a skill that will follow them their entire lives

I played with the Erie Junior Philharmonic for seven years. Over the course of those seven years, myself and my fellow musicians, were given the opportunity to play alongside of the Erie Philharmonic, our "mother" orchestra, and the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony.
We were also encouraged to join various ensembles led by member of the Erie Philharmonic where I spent seven years playing as well.

As a former mentor of Sara's, I know she is a great teacher! She has been involved with music since she was 5, when she began playing piano. She added violin when she turned 7 and continued with both throughout her childhood and into her adult life.. She has wonderful orchestral experience as well as sacred/religious music. Because of her love for music, she is thrilled to be able to open young children’s eyes and minds to the joys found in music.
