I have had a love for playing and listening to the piano since I was about four years old. I started taking private lessons when I was nine and enjoyed playing piano all the way through high school. My experience in teaching beginner and intermediate students also began once I hit high school. During those years, I had a substantial amount of experience playing for school programs, church choir and accompaniment, church services, and weddings. I also received several awards at the MACS musical competitions my school would participate in.
After graduating college with my Bachelors degree in Music Education, I taught private piano lessons for a couple of years, while also teaching all day Kindergarten. I continued my career and taught private piano lessons for four years at two different music schools with about 40 students at a time. Now I teach solely online and absolutely love it!
