I teach students ages 5 + , beginning to the early-advanced pianist. I focus on physical technique and wellness at the instrument , and for the young student , I focus on rhythm and note reading for a strong classical foundation. I have a classical background , but can also incorporate pop song and music theory.

I have a masters degree in piano performance and have taken extensive classes in pedagogy (teaching). I have taught privately and in private piano studios since 2014. 

I teach beginners to late intermediate/early advanced (ages 5 to 21) and adult students. I focus on rhythm, technique/physical wellness at the instrument, and reading to create a strong classical foundation. I aim to balance a nurturing positive environment with precise instruction. Students love my kindhearted and detail oriented nature.
