I crochet things such as hats, scarves, afghans, sweaters, ponchos, etc. The items are from newborn size all the way up to and including men and women sizes. I have had exclusive contracts from St. Louis, Mo. to places in Texas. All of the items are original designs. I have also been department head of needlework at Hobby Lobby. My style of teaching, while believing in a fairly structured curriculum, believe in having fun within that construct and looking at each students particular needs, where their struggle lies, as well as what they are looking to obtain, in their new found talent. Are they doing this to be able to make items of comfort for their family and friends, is it something they wish to make and donate to their Church and Community, or are they just wanting to have fun?
