Music Theory with Sandi W.

Sandi has been a music educator for 15+ years. Currently, she is the choir director at Manitou Springs MS/HS and has been since January 2017. She is originally from North Carolina and has been in Colorado since August of 2015. She has been playing the violin for 26 years and singing for 24 years. Sandi has been teaching music for 15+ years. In that time, she has built 5 different music programs in various private and charter schools in NC and CO, and has taught everything from K-12 general music to founding and conducting her own youth orchestras and A Cappella groups who have performed at professional sporting events such as NBA games, NHL games, and multiple performances at D1 colleges in North Carolina. She, as a violinist, has performed with the Charlotte Symphony, Charlotte Philharmonic, and has recorded with various local and mainstream recording artists. Sandra's background expands beyond orchestra and choir, but also to multicultural music and dance. She has choreographed multiple dances and taught multi-lingual music to K-12 students for Local, State, and International Heritage Festivals. When she isn't teaching, she spends time with her loving husband and pup hiking, skiing, fishing, and going to concerts, performing music, and doing anything outdoors.
