Sam is an awesome teacher. His style of teaching makes learning the music AND the theory behind it a lot of fun! One of his best abilities is that he can understand questions really well. I have a lot of long, crazy, seemingly nonsensical, confusing, rambling questions, and he is able to ANSWER them all! I am continually astounded! He's assisted me in making a lot of progress, because of that skill, and others, such as patience and articulation, and demonstration. I would recommend him.

Sam is a fantastic drum instructor! He has the expertise to teach both beginners (like my child) and advanced students. His personality is winsome and friendly, firm yet kind. He explains music theory in an extremely accessible way - convincing his student why the theory “stuff” makes musical expression even more fun.

Sam is an amazing teacher! He’s so easy going (so my kids feel comfortable, able to ask questions and ask for input). This is great for confidence building! He’s also extremely knowledgeable and able to inspire the creative artist within your child. He gives concrete, helpful instructions on how to improve and practice each week. My kids always have a plan for their week which makes improvement a no-brainer. My kids have improved by leaps and bounds since taking lessons from Sam. They love the skill and artistry they are attaining and love their lessons from Sam. Great guy, great teacher. You will not be disappointed!!!
