I use composition as a tool for student growth. I compose exercises and pieces for my students to target areas of improvement, and also encourage students to compose themselves. I have seven years of performing and teaching experience and hold a B.M. from Berklee College of Music and an M.M. from Manhattan School of Music.
Whether you are playing the piano for the first time or have played for several years, my lessons yield noticeable results.

I am a professional pianist and piano teacher in the Greater New York City Area. I hold a B.M. from Berklee College of Music and an M.M. from Manhattan School of music.
I am very versatile in my lessons and tailor material to students' needs and preferences. Whether we are reading a classical piece, learning a pop song by ear, or improvising, I encourage you to use your ears to develop your own style.
I believe composition is an important tool for student growth. I compose original exercises and pieces for my students that target specific areas of improvement. I also encourage students to compose themselves.
Whether you are playing the piano for the first time or already have a few years of experience, you can expect my lessons to yield weekly results and to gain skills that will maximize your potential.
