Teaching since:

I am a professional violinist, composer, music producer, and recording artist. I graduated from Bucknell University and had a career as an Army Officer prior to pursuing music full time. I have had a lifelong passion for music, and I am anxious to share this passion with others!

I teach violin students of all different ages and experience levels. I studied violin starting at the age of 6 through the Suzuki school of music, where I was trained classically. I have a strong background in violin through over 20 years of experience, during which time I have participated in numerous orchestras and ensembles, including all-county and regional orchestras as well as the Bucknell University orchestra. I can teach students to read music and pursue classical excellence, to learn how to play contemporary music, or both depending on the goals and preference of the student. I structure the lessons according to the goals, skill level, and interests of each student, and I am focused on helping each student to gain a proper understanding of technique, music theory, and the feeling behind the music they are playing.

My personal passion is rock and classical music, but I love sharing music of all genres. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better musician!
