I covered North Dakota’s senators and at-large congressman in Washington, D.C. as well as state and local political trends. Chief among my 2018 duties was coverage of North Dakota’s U.S. Senate race for the largest chain of newspapers in the state. My writing has included an investigation into the governor’s travel schedule, a grant-funding investigation that parsed 15,000 pages of emails and a political profiles on a range of state leaders — from U.S. Senate candidates to the North Dakota attorney general.
