I am a professional musician and educator. I have always enjoyed and been eager to share the musical knowledge that I learned from the very first music lesson I ever had; this feeling in me has never changed. I simply love to help people who want to learn new instruments. I am patient and encouraging, helping you to always believe in yourself and I believe and have the educational means to help you do it. Whether it is piano, guitar or some other instrument you want to learn, I can help you. I was became entirely dedicated to music when I was 14 years old. I learned Classical/Jazz/Pop Guitar, Piano and Flute/Recorder/Alto Sax. As soon as I started learning, I started teaching. In my church there were a lot of kids that didn't have the opportunity to learn music, so I volunteered and became their music teacher passing on to them whatever I learned myself. As I grew older, I kept on studying and teaching music as a church volunteer and noticed that my own skills would dramatically improve just because I was devoted to my student's learning. I pursued a degree in Music Education in New York City at the Aaron Copland School of Music. The education and experience I gained from college, drastically improved my teaching skills and I was able to work as a Music Teaching Assistant for a private school in NYC, a Senior Chess instructor for after school programs and a Private Music Studio teacher. Nowadays I am an active music teacher and performer, looking for new students and opportunities to share the love of music. I always reach out to people who have musical interests and want to further develop or experiment with music. I will be very happy to be your music teacher!

I had my very first lesson today with Sal, and I’m excited about some very cute things he taught me in just a short period of time. He is very talented, approachable, enjoyable to work with, and knows what he’s doing. I look forward to learning and growing with him.

This brief lesson was helpful, especially since its my first time learning. I learned a few chords and now have some homework to do. Very personable and straightforward! I just moved back to Dallas and needing some instructions to finally get started.

    Experience

    Music Teacher/Insructor

    RBR Müzik

I have taught Ukulele, Guitar, Piano, Violin, Voice, both private lessons, group lessons and summer camps. Have also been a Montessori Music Director at different Private schools such as Wonderland Montessori, Kin-west Montessori, Coppell Montessori, Ivy League Montessori, Redeemer Montessori, among others. In these programs I have had to create all of these school's Christmas program, Spring Sing Closing of Year Concerts as well as Graduation Concerts. During my time teaching at these schools I would see roughly 800+ children every week for as long as the school year would last for. In other words I have had much experience with children from ages 1 to 14 years old, from Pre-school to Upper-Elementary.
