I am a student at Western Michigan University, I have been playing clarinet for 8 years, and loving every minute of it. I am a consistent first chair player, a leader in the marching band, and receive 1 ratings at solo and ensemble every time I go. While I definitely feel I am a skilled player, I am also very confident in my ability to teach clarinet at any level of experience. Even if you don't know how to hold a clarinet or even what it is besides that it's the instrument Squidward plays. I taught a high school senior that had never been in band before but wanted to join, how to play the clarinet and he made enough progress in only a year to compete and receive a medal at solo and ensemble. And my lesssons aren't just for beginners! Maybe you do have some clarinet experience, but maybe you haven't picked it up in a while and want a refresher. Or maybe you just want some lessons to get you ahead of your class and I would love to be a part of furthering your clarinet skills! As I said, I have been playing for 8 years and can teach students up to the intermediate-advanced level.
