*MUST HAVE YOUR OWN MACHINE* Lessons I offer: -how to set up and use machine -sewing basics, tips and tricks -how to read and use a store-bought pattern + completion of project -assisting with existing pattern + completion of project *Please note: I am NOT offering pattern-drafting lessons. *All beginner lessons come with a list of necessary supplies for sewing success.* Intermediate+ can request this list! I first learned how to sew from a wonderful woman teaching in-home sewing lessons. Her one on one lessons helped catapult me into the skilled sewer I am today. I've been sewing for about 17 years now. I started my namesake brand in 2009 where I designed and created every item by hand (pattern-drafting to sewing). I went on to receive my BFA in Fashion Design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design where my construction skills advanced. I've spent the last 6 years in New York working in garment industry and in costume, as well as teaching and tutoring. I'm currently focused on my personal projects and teaching. My sewing teaching methods are unique in that I have both sides of the equation to offer: structural/basics and creative/fashion. I am happy to work with any student on what they choose to focus on and what they are excited about gaining from the lessons. If you're unsure what you want to learn, we can work together on a small project to get you going!

I only took a couple of lessons from Sabrina, just to enhance a few sewing skills, but she was great. Very knowledgeable!

She cancelled on my tree minutes before our session. I didn't have time to hire someone new. This has ruined my holiday. I stayed home to finish a sewing project and now can't because it's too late to hire someone new. It's too late to fly back home. This sucks. I better get my money back.

Sabrina taught my daughter in-home, she was always on time despite the distance and was very patient and respectful. We have a few other children and she was extremely welcoming to the little ones looking in on the lesson. She taught my daughter how to use a store-bought pattern and some sewing basics.
