    About Ryan S.

    I am a dedicated and passionate musician originally from Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. I hold a Bachelors of Music Education and Performers Certificate from Penn State University (2017). I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Trombone Performance at the University of Miami (2019). At the University of Miami I serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant to the Frost Band of the Hour Marching Band. Throughout my academic and professional careers I have consistently performed in jazz ensembles, orchestras, wind ensemble, jazz combos, trombone choirs, and various other chamber ensembles. I also write and arrange my own music for several ensembles.
