I inspire a love of music in my piano students by incorporating music that they love (e.g. favorite artists, songs, etc) along with teaching music theory and core concepts from the Alfred books. Students will learn a foundation for playing, sight-reading, and composing (if they are interested in songwriting) as well as learning a repertoire of songs they love.

I'm a #1 Billboard-charting songwriter and music producer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Point Park University. I have been teaching privately and at music schools for 7 years. I also work with special needs kids, and currently serve as the Musical Director for a music education program that leverages music and musical theater to build the self esteem of Autistic children. I'm told by my students that I am very patient, encouraging, calm, and inspire a love of music in them.
