My first passion is Percussion,where I was first introduced to the drums at my local school music program.Since then,I have followed a path of music beginning with the High School Band program at Stonewall Jackson High where in 1998 I was the Section leader of the Drumline in Marching Band.I was also a Drumset player for Jazz Band,Percussion for Symphonic and Concert Band, and a selected member of the All District and All County Band 1994-2000.After graduation,my passion for playing music turned to a love to teach music and in 2001 I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Music.After founding my band Van Nuys Music Corporation and performing live in some of Boston’s sweetest venues, I moved to Los Angeles,where I began my 9 year career tutoring students and continued performing in even sweeter venues. In 2014,I moved back to Virginia where I am now offering home tutoring in Percussion, Piano, and Acoustic/Electric Guitar.
