I have been working at S. E. Shires company since 2014 as a buffing room technician. I work hands on with brass parts and play a part in the assembly and production of Trumpets and Trombones.

I have been teaching trumpet privately for several years, and use a variety of methods in my instruction.  Using ear training and basic theory, I aim to give students the most well rounded musical instruction. I prefer to begin students with the Essential Elements series as they begin their education, and slowly work our way up to more advanced studies.  I offer lessons in my home studio, at my Alma Mater (Rhode Island College), or at the students home setting, and am able to teach all ages.

Graduated in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Rhode Island College.  Studied extensively with Professor Joseph Foley, receiving training in Jazz and Classical trumpet and flugelhorn playing. I have over ten years of both playing and performing experience. I am able to incorporate Ear Training and Music Theory into trumpet lessons, and strive to create an well sounded musical experience.
