Drums with Ryan F.

I have been playing drums for nearly 20 years. I studied jazz at Webster University, where I performed with some of the top ensembles in the program. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in music in 2012, and continued with my master's degree at the University of Missouri- Columbia. While studying at Mizzou, I performed with the MU concert jazz band, the university's flagship jazz ensemble. I recorded two albums with the group, which included guests artists Byron Stripling, Bob Sheppard, Jimmy Greene, and Sean Jones. I have also had the pleasure to share the stage with some of today's leading jazz musicians including John Clayton, Geoffrey Keezer, Joe Locke, Alicia Olatuja, James Carter, and Mike Mainieri. In addition, I even played in the backup band for the late Joan Rivers at the Missouri Theater. While I now work as a project manager for a construction company during the week, I still embrace my musical passion by regularly performing and teaching in the St. Louis area.
