I am a classically trained pianist and college student who also has experience in playing in the jazz ensemble in high school. My repertoire spans from Classical and Baroque, to Romantic era composers such as Chopin and Rachmaninoff, to ragtime and jazz greats like Scott Joplin and Oscar Peterson, respectively. In middle school and high school, I played in Lincoln Center (Rose Theater) and Merkin Concert Hall (Kaufman Music Center), both prestigious concert halls in the heart of Manhattan, as a finalist in competitions. During high school, I was also selected as a NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) All State finalist, with a score of 100 on a Level VI solo out of 6500 students who prepared solos. Following high school, my passion has been for teaching those around me, including family members, friends, etc., the gift of playing the piano.
