Hello, My name is Ryan. I am a Seattle native and artist. I began playing music here in the early 90s... My core instrument and the root of my knowledge is the guitar. I have been playing off and on for almost 30 years now. And by off and on I mean, we get busy in life and sometimes there's just not enough time for practice. However, I have been able to find happiness in  just the smallest amount of time with my instrument and I hope you'll find a fraction of that happiness for yourself and if you do, believe me, you'll never regret making the effort. So I'll explain quickly my philosophy, It starts with making time. We all know that practice makes perfect and patience is the key to making  your own particular artistic vision come to life. It is hard work but, with a little bit of time and effort, you can become the kind of player that you expect you can be. I approach teaching music from this perspective...I Endeavor to emulate those I enjoy listening to. This is my  
philosophy. if you take the time to enjoy practice you are going to find Greater Joy in your performance. The audience will feel the intensity and  when they give back that energy.That will be the day that you'll be ready to teach your own students! My job is to facilitate growth and nurture your confidence. So,who do you listen to? That's where you and I will begin to craft a sound that is your own.
