Fun. My goals are to make you better at your instrument and to help you have a good time. Learning an instrument is hard work, but it's better if you're having fun. My aim is to teach great musical fundamentals that apply across instruments and genres to make you well rounded, to give you the technical skills you need to perform well and to help you accomplish your goals.

Ryan graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with distinction; he then attended the Hollywood Musicians Institute, receiving a degree in Bass Performance from the Bass Institute of Technology.

Ryan’s credits include performances with Dove Award-winning artists Aaron Shust, Candi Pearson Shelton, Jonathan Shelton & Seth Condrey, vocalists Chris Cauley & Mathai from Season 2 of NBC’s The Voice, as well as working with Dove Award-winning engineer & Grammy-nominated producer Robert Venable and Grammy Award Winning producer Samuel Ash. 

Ryan currently works full time as a musician in the Atlanta area and teaches bass, guitar, and piano.

Ryan is absolutely the best guitar teacher around!  I had been playing on and off for a few years but when I started taking lessons with him is when my playing ability really took off.  If you're looking for a teacher that can make you excited about music and make you a much better player, Ryan is the man!
