My name is Ruqayyah and I love sewing and fabric. My strengths are combining the fabric and design for the perfect match! I have over 20 years of sewing experience. I am 100% self-taught and I am very comfortable teaching small aged kids to adults. I have an 8-year old that I am currently teaching to sew. I was in the fashion retail industry as a retail buyer for more than 20+ years. I worked closely with designers and industry leaders to develop concepts and make big buys for large big box and vertical retailers. I even developed a line that I had manufactured (I can take you through the dos and don'ts if you are interested in going down that route.)
