Hi there, I am a San Diego based jazz guitarist and have been playing guitar for about 10 years. I've received my A.A degree in music from southwestern college under the tutelage of Jorge l Pastrana on classical guitar. I have also received my bachelors in jazz studies at San Diego State University under the tutelage of Bob Boss. I consider myself a very diverse guitarist covering multiple genres from Rock to Jazz with a splash of classical. I've been lucky enough to be able to tour the United States performing as a jazz duo as the "Django Shredders" performing music of Django Reinhardt and many other gypsy jazz standards. I love helping people discover music through the guitar and helping them develop a practice routine. Things we can possibly discuss and work on are scales, harmony and theory, improvisation, and learning songs.
