My name is Roy C., I'm a music teacher from Grand Junction Co, specializing in beginner guitar and piano. I'm currently attending The University of Colorado Denver, majoring in Music Performance. I have over eight years of private music teaching experience and over 17 years of performance experience under my belt. I make a point to take the extra time and effort to connect with my students, and strive for them to achieve all of their musical goals.

Roy has been an amazing teacher to our daughter. She likes him alot, and so do we. It's been fun to watch her grow and learn a new instrument with a teacher that makes it so fun for her. We would highly recommend Roy, he's awesome!

First experience with private lessons for my 13 year old son.  He had a blast with Roy!  Roy was knowledgeable, fun, courteous......good communication and flexibility for scheduling as well.

Roy does a great job encouraging and working with my 11 year old daughter who has partial epilepsy. She's excited to learn and enjoys how Roy instructs her.

Roy was a good teacher who got along with my daughters very well. Roy was good at teaching my girls the guitar and I appreciated how flexible he was with our challenging schedule.

Roy is an excellent teacher, very personable, and willing to work to support a variety of learning methods; he not only worked to teach me guitar chords, but also touched on some music theory basics, scales, and the beginnings of a song after only a few short lessons. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Roy as a teacher to anyone with an interest in music, or who is looking to improve their skill level.

The girls are doing great so far!  Roy is pleasant, fun and easy to work with if there are scheduling conflicts!
