My name is Roy Bumpers aka Roy-Al aka Mr Bumpers the Chess Instructor!! I have played chess since I was a child and have been a tournament competitor for the last 4 years. I work full time for a chess teaching nonprofit organization and love to teach the game to anyone willing to learn. I specialize in tournament preparation for beginner and novice players. I do have both FBI and BCI background checks completed that I redo annually.
