Classical Piano with Roxanne W.

I know my students can learn ANYTHING, and it's my job to guide them and inspire them in the most efficient and fun way I can. I have a versatile background as a trumpet playing composer who plays piano as well. I've played in almost every genre at one point or another as a professional trumpet player--pop, jazz, salsa, orchestral, wind band, christian rock, regular rock, etc. I auditioned on piano a few years ago in order to get my masters degree in composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. I moved to the bay for the first time in order to get this degree and the pandemic hit right when I graduated. I still find time to actively challenge myself musically through playing and writing music, even though I commonly spend 1-3 hours every work day outside of lessons preparing/reviewing teaching notes and materials. I also love to make videos on youtube (channel: Rock with Roxanne). My dream is to find enough students to comfortably survive in San Francisco doing what I love (teaching, being a musician, and making videos!) :)
