French with Roxanne T.

Bonjour je m'appelle Roxanne, ravie de te rencontrer! I am a French citizen by birth from a city in the south of France called Toulouse. Throughout my life, I have grown up in various french environments & communities giving me exposure to all types of francophone cultures, from its country of origin to multiple French-speaking African countries. With my mother being French and my dad from Cameroon, I have been exposed to much more than just the traditional French language. My well-rounded knowledge of France, but especially its culture is what makes my teaching styles unique. Regarding my professional experience, I have been a French teacher's assistant since my High School and university career, making me comfortable giving classes to people of this age demographic. I achieved an AP French score of 5 and to this day continue to give occasional private lessons. My approachable and gentle nature means most beginner level French speakers are comfortable with my teaching styles, however, I can assist up to all levels. The main focus of my classes is verbal speech & understanding of the francophone world. We will talk about relevant current events which will bring real value to your life instead of simply learning from a grammar book. I promise to make the classes exciting and deliver a course which will be valuable to you in the outside-world where you will be able to have true and exciting conversations with French natives.
