    About Roxanne R.

My name is Roxanne Reed. I am 26yrs old and I’ve been playing piano since I was 8. I was self taught until I went to college. In college I took 4 courses of music theory, multiple lessons, and was in the marching band for my university. I play piano, trumpet, and ukulele. Currently learning other instruments as well because I love all musical instruments and it is my goal to play them all. I have 2 pianos at home and 2 keyboards. 5 ukuleles, all different sizes. I’m a very positive person and love playing with my dogs, (Great Danes). My husband is a pharmacist and I’ve been very lucky to peruse my dream of being a private music teacher. I’ve wanted to help people learn how to play instruments since I was 10yrs old and joined the 5th grade band and helped another student play the xylophone! That moment has stayed with me, my first teaching moment. She ended up playing xylophone for 4years, I played bells, chimes in concert band and then piano in jazz band. Contact me and we can start your music journey!
