Hi, I'm Roshney. I'm a recent graduate from Brooklyn College with a Master's in Experimental Psychology. I work part time in a neuroscience lab, so next to teaching, conducting scientific research is a true passion. I enjoy working with children and starting doing so as a NYC DOE Substitute Teacher. I then began working as a summer research mentor to high schoolers at SUNY Old Westbury via the STEP program. Afterwards, I worked for a year as a Kindergarten Teacher's Assistant which also lead to part time babysitting opportunities.
As an educator I am very patient and understanding. I know that we all learn in different and unique ways and essentially in a small group or one to one setting, I would alter my teaching style to cater to individual needs. While I take education very seriously, I tend to easily build relationships with my students because I try my best to make learning as fun and engaging as possible.
