Let me help you sing with more ease, confidence, and emotional expression

Experience and results are two things every student should be looking for in a voice teacher. With two advanced degrees in voice, ten years of teaching experience, award winning students, and performance experience with many regional orchestras and opera companies, I've got both. As a teacher, my first priority is healthy, natural singing and my second is expressing the music and text. I use imagery to help students guide their breath energy and cultivate resonant space for more efficient and expressive singing. My lessons are very interactive and collaborative so I can find the images and ideas that connect best with each individual student.

    About Rosella E.

I am passionate about the art of singing. As a mezzo-soprano, I perform with several regional orchestras, chamber groups, and opera companies. I trained with multiple opera companies throughout the United States, and I earned my Masters of Music from Westminster Choir College and my Doctorate of Music Arts from LSU. I am equally passionate about teaching voice. I have been teaching at the college level for over ten years, but have also taught students from as young as 10 up into their seventies. My students have competed at the state and regional level of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and several of them were finalists or even won first place in their categories. Several of my former students have earned scholarships to colleges and graduate schools in voice. My approach to teaching voice will help you build confidence as you explore the natural voice you were born with and grow your ability to healthily adapt that voice to express any music you want to sing.
